Tips for children to kick off the quilt when sleeping

Taking care of a baby is the most tiring thing. At night, the mother is already exhausted. When she wants to go to sleep, she will find that the baby is naughty and always kicks the quilt. Many mothers are particularly worried that the baby will catch a cold after kicking the quilt, so many mothers will get up several times to cover the baby with a quilt. In this way, the mother can't sleep well. In order to prevent the baby from kicking the quilt, it is best to take some measures.

Put your child in thick pajamas

Dress your child in pajamas with long sleeves and long pants. If the weather is cold, also prepare thick pajamas for your child. It is to prevent the child from kicking off the quilt, while his hands and feet are still protected by clothes and not exposed.

Wear socks to sleep

You can also put a pair of socks on your child. Little feet are afraid of cold when it is cold, and afraid of heat when it is hot, but children don’t know how to cover their feet. The socks for children should be cotton, loose-fitting, and not tied around the feet.

Wear a bellyband on your belly

The part that is most afraid of catching cold is the belly. No matter how many times you tell your child to protect his belly, he will still kick in the middle of the night. Make a small belly band and let your child wear it when sleeping at night. This way you won’t be afraid of the child kicking.

Wrap the child in a large blanket

You can also use a large quilt to make a sleeping bag. Take out a very large quilt at home, fold it in half from the middle so that there is no gap on the middle side, then let the child sleep in the quilt, cover the child with the quilt, and fold the other side of the quilt behind the child's back, and it will become a sleeping bag.

Don’t set the air conditioner too cold

If it is summer, I will sleep in the room with the air conditioner on. Don’t turn the air conditioner in your child’s room too cold, because he won’t know why he has to look for a quilt in the middle of the night because it’s cold. As long as the room temperature is not too high and the child does not feel cold in the middle of the night, he will not catch a cold.

Get up in the middle of the night to cover the child with a blanket

Even though we sleep in separate beds from our children, parents still cannot let their guard down. You should get up at least once in the middle of the night to check if your child is covered with a blanket and cover him/her properly. There's no way around it. Being a parent is just very worrying. Everything will be fine when the children really grow up.
