What to do with diaper rash

We all know that parents will use diapers for their children when they are young, because it is more convenient to use diapers for children, which can prevent children from wetting their clothes. There are many types of diapers, including gauze and cotton. However, because children's skin is very delicate, some children will be infected with diaper rash. So what should you do if your baby suffers from diaper rash?

Infant eczema, commonly known as "milk rash", is the most common skin disease in children. It is common in infants aged 1 to 2 months, but in some cases the disease occurs after 5 to 6 months. It is usually seen in obese infants, and the condition may be mild or severe with recurring attacks. It will gradually heal around the age of two.

The skin lesions of eczema appear on the cheeks, initially with erythematous patches accompanied by rice-sized papules or papules, followed by ulceration, erosion, exudation, and crusting. The scalp may also be affected, appearing as yellow sebaceous crusts or white scales.

It is a skin inflammation caused by the baby's tender skin, which is often stimulated by moisture and heat. This is mainly caused by diapers being washed frequently but not changed, or diapers being not breathable. The early symptoms of diaper dermatitis are simply large areas of redness and roughness in the areas that come into contact with the diapers. If this is treated promptly, it will soon subside. It should be kept clean and dry. Apply some non-irritating talcum powder when changing diapers. Don't wear too tight or too many clothes. The room temperature should be suitable to reduce irritation to the skin.

Simply wipe with a hot washcloth during diaper changes and apply an antibiotic ointment. As for more severe or prolonged diaper rash, you should see a dermatologist promptly to prevent worsening of the infection. You can also treat it at home under the guidance of a doctor.

Take good care of your baby's skin, change diapers in time after each urination or defecation, clean the little butt, apply diaper cream, protect and moisturize the little butt, and prevent the occurrence of diaper wetting.
