What to do if a child has a boil on his head

Since the types of skin diseases are very complicated, the effects and degrees of treatment are also different. It is very difficult to treat skin diseases on the head, such as abscesses on the head, etc., and this phenomenon is easy to occur in children, which will cause pain to the patients. If the treatment method is not correct, it will continue. So what should children do if they have abscesses on their heads?

First, what should we do if a child has a boil on his head? The diagnosis of boils on the head is very simple. Some people call it folliculitis, while others call it seborrheic dermatitis. Both diagnoses are correct. It manifests as red boils on the scalp, with repeated purulent pain. In theory, boils on the head can be found at any age, but according to our experience, it is more common in men. It usually occurs between six months and one year old, or in young people around 30 years old.

Second, the mechanism of abscesses on children's and adults' heads is different. Abscesses on babies' heads, also called infantile acne, are caused by too much androgen during the development of the mother, which is called fetal toxin in traditional Chinese medicine. If they grow on the face, scalp and other parts, it is generally not a big deal. If they become purulent, you can apply Bactroban or compound phellodendron liquid externally. Generally, they will get better naturally after a while.

Third, the condition of abscesses on the heads of adults is often complicated. It is generally recommended to take Chinese medicine for conditioning. In severe cases, antibiotics can be used for treatment. This type of condition heals slowly, and the general medication time is one month; some even take longer. If the disease recurs, or the abscesses are large, or there are several abscesses together, this type of condition is extremely destructive and is called perforating folliculitis. It is recommended to go to the hospital for bacterial culture for treatment. Currently, there are not many hospitals in China that can carry out this project. You can ask carefully.

What should I do if a child has a boil on his head? You must pay attention to diet, such as avoiding drinking as much as possible, eating less high-calorie foods such as peppers, mutton, grapes, oranges, etc.; it is also best to eat less chocolate, cakes and other foods; eating more vitamin-rich foods such as vegetables has a certain preventive and therapeutic effect; note that these boils cannot be squeezed, otherwise it will easily make the infection more serious; after all, the head and face are rich in blood supply, and it will be more troublesome if an infection occurs; in addition, if there is a fever, it is recommended to go to the hospital for injections and infusions in time, and hospitalize if necessary;
