What to do if a baby gets blisters from a mosquito bite

Babies' skin is particularly delicate, and mosquitoes particularly like their skin. Therefore, it is easy to be bitten by mosquitoes in the summer. This often causes blisters on the child's skin, causing the child to cry. In this case, parents can use some light salt water to wipe it, or use some non-irritating chloramphenicol eye drops to wipe it, which can achieve the effect of relieving itching and killing bacteria.

What to do if your baby gets blisters from mosquito bites

1. Apply laundry detergent

If the child encounters a poisonous mosquito, the mosquito bite will often become red and swollen, itchy and uncomfortable. At this time, you can rinse it with water first, but don't dry it completely. The mother should use a clean finger to wet it, apply a little detergent, and then gently wipe it on the mosquito bite. You will find that the red and swollen area will disappear immediately. Wait until it disappears completely, then rinse off the detergent with water.

2. Apply garlic slices

Cut the garlic into small pieces and place them on the area where the baby is bitten. Apply it for a few minutes to quickly reduce swelling, relieve itching and prevent inflammation. If the baby's mosquito bites have become inflamed or enlarged, you can continue to wipe them with garlic slices. Generally speaking, the lumps can be removed and the inflammation eliminated after 12 hours, and the ulcerated areas can recover within 24 hours. However, due to the irritation of garlic, this method is not suitable for young babies or children with skin allergies.

3. Use boiling water

Prepare half a basin of boiling water, the temperature of which is acceptable to children, then soak a corner of a clean towel in it. Take it out and use the towel to burn the bitten area. Do this several times. This method can not only reduce swelling, but also relieve pain and itching.

4. Rub with salt

Mothers can use clean wet fingers to dip some salt and rub the area where the baby is bitten repeatedly. This can quickly reduce swelling and eliminate pain, itching and discomfort.

5. Chloramphenicol eye drops

You can drop a small amount of eye drops on the area where your baby is bitten, which can immediately eliminate the lump and relieve itching and pain. This is because chloramphenicol eye drops have a strong and effective anti-inflammatory effect. If the baby scratches a mosquito bite, this medicine can prevent infection and eliminate inflammation.

What to do if your baby gets blisters after being bitten by a mosquito

As soon as summer comes, the hateful mosquitoes always fly around the baby. If we are not careful, we will be bitten by mosquitoes one after another. The next day, our hands will be itchy. Now there are red spots on the palms of our hands. When the baby feels itchy, there will be obvious small blisters when we scratch it, which makes people anxious and distressed.

Some people have no symptoms after being bitten, some only have mild itching and slight pain, and some people may have obvious redness and swelling, or even large bruises, accompanied by severe itching and burning pain. For those with severe symptoms, on the one hand, it may be because the mosquito is more toxic, and on the other hand it may be related to the allergic constitution of the person bitten.

Due to individual differences and physical constitutions of babies, there is no perfect way. We can only try our best to protect them, sleep under mosquito nets at night, apply floral water on the body, and try not to be bitten by mosquitoes. Mothers will have to work harder.

Adding vitamin B1 to the bath gel, the special smell emitted by vitamin B1 can keep mosquitoes away, thus achieving the effect of repelling mosquitoes and preventing insects. Dissolve 3 to 5 tablets of vitamin B1 in water, and use a cotton ball dipped in the solution to wipe exposed limbs. This can repel mosquito bites within two days.
