What happens when a child cries until he has convulsions?

Children are usually ignorant and often cannot express what they mean, and their parents cannot understand them, which leads to them becoming irritable and crying. The less parents understand what their children want, the more irritable their children will become. Many children cry until they have convulsions. Most of these are due to excessive hunger or bowel movements, so parents must observe them in a timely manner.

1. Non-disease-related crying: Babies will cry when they are hungry, before going to sleep, before defecation, and when they feel uncomfortable.

A normal newborn starts crying as soon as it leaves the mother's body. This cry is the opening speech of birth. It is a very strong inhalation movement, which is powerful enough to make the alveoli swell and expand rapidly. If the baby does not cry, the lungs cannot exert their powerful respiratory function. This is called neonatal asphyxia and requires emergency rescue. Normally, newborns cry several times a day to adjust to the boring life of eating and sleeping. The crying at this time is crisp, loud and rhythmic. Crying that is not caused by illness is common in the following situations.

1. Emotionally dependent crying is crying with emotional demands . When a close person leaves or a favorite toy is lost, the crying is loud at first and then gradually weakens. There is an expression of pain, accompanied by tears and a listless and lazy mood. At this time, if you pick him up, his emotions will be stable, his spirit will be happy, and his body will become beautiful. However, completely ignoring the emotional needs of infants and young children will be detrimental to the child's mental and physical development.

2. Crying when hungry The main way for infants and young children to express hunger is crying . They will actively turn their heads to the mother's chest to find the nipple. At this time, if you test the lips with your fingers, they will involuntarily stick out their tongues and make sucking movements. Once they are fed milk or food, they will immediately calm down. For formula-fed babies, if the food is too thick, too hot, or the surrounding environment is noisy, which affects the child's mood or thirst, the baby will cry like hungry. At this time, if the child is picked up or changed to a different environment, the crying will stop.

3. Crying when uncomfortable can be caused by sudden hot or cold stimulation , rough and uneven clothing fabrics, clothes wrapped too tightly, wet diapers or mosquito bites, etc. This type of crying is loud at first, then gradually becomes smaller, and the whole body becomes restless. If they hear a sudden loud noise, are frightened, or are stimulated by something, they will suddenly cry and scream, with a terrified facial expression. For crying caused by these reasons, as long as help is given in time, such as changing diapers frequently, paying attention to the temperature of the wind and heat, keeping the environment elegant and peaceful, removing foreign objects from the body or holding the baby in the arms and gently caressing and comforting, the crying can be effectively calmed down.
