What foods should children not eat too much?

Parents need to pay attention to children's dietary health issues, because this is also related to the healthy growth of children. Children are not suitable for eating oranges, spinach, eggs and other foods, especially not too much. Pay attention to scientific diet.

1. Orange

Although oranges are rich in nutrients, they contain carotene. Eating too much can easily cause "carotene skin disease", abdominal pain and diarrhea, and even bone disease. Therefore, children should not eat more than 4 medium-sized oranges a day.

2. Spinach

Spinach contains a large amount of oxalic acid. When oxalic acid meets calcium and zinc in the human body, it produces calcium oxalate and zinc oxalate, which are not easily absorbed and are excreted from the body.

Children's growth and development require a lot of calcium and zinc. If the body lacks calcium and zinc, it will not only lead to poor development of bones and teeth, but also affect intellectual development.

3. Eggs

Although eggs are a food with relatively comprehensive nutritional components, eating too many eggs will increase the cholesterol content in the body, easily causing overnutrition and leading to obesity. It can also increase the burden on the gastrointestinal tract, liver and kidneys, and cause functional disorders. Therefore, children should not eat more than 3 eggs a day.

4. Strong tea

Strong tea contains a large amount of tannic acid. When tannic acid meets iron in the human body, it forms tannic acid iron, which is difficult to be absorbed by the body and can easily cause iron deficiency in the body. Children with iron deficiency will not only suffer from anemia, but also affect their intellectual development.

5. Jelly

Jelly is not made of fruit juice and sugar, but is made of thickeners, flavors, acidifiers, colorants, and sweeteners. These substances have no nutritional value to the human body and are also toxic to a certain extent. Eating too much or eating frequently will affect children's growth, development, and intellectual health.
