If infants and young children have diarrhea due to food poisoning, parents do not need to be too anxious. They should stay calm and find a reasonable solution. However, they must not apply the same approach that they use on adults to children, as doing so is very dangerous.

1. Ingredients of Hawthorn Charcoal Rice Porridge: 50 grams of dried hawthorn and appropriate amount of rice soup. Function: Digest food and eliminate accumulation. It is used for diarrhea in children, accompanied by abdominal distension, anorexia, sour and smelly stool, visible fat beads, and thick and greasy tongue coating. Usage: Wash the hawthorns and place them on a cloth, heat over a low fire until the hawthorns are roasted into a brownish brown color, then grind into powder and set aside. Let the child eat while hot. Take twice a day for 3 consecutive days.

3. Ingredients of Chicken Gizzard Neck Crisp Cookies: 20 grams of chicken gizzard lining (dry product), 100 grams of flour, and a little fine salt. Function: Helps digestion and stimulates appetite. It is used for abdominal pain, diarrhea, abdominal distension, intestinal rumbling, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting caused by spleen deficiency and food stagnation. Usage: Roast chicken gizzard lining over low heat until it turns yellow, grind into powder, mix with flour, fine salt, water and knead into dough, make into 10 pancakes, bake over low heat until crispy, and they become crispy pancakes. Take once a day, divided into 10 portions. Note: For infants, roast 20 grams of chicken's gizzard lining over low heat until it turns yellow, grind into powder, divide into 10 portions, take 1 portion once a day, drink with boiled water or brown sugar water. Same function as above.

4. Ingredients of Radish Seed and Cooked Steamed Bun Powder: 5-10 grams of radish seeds and half a cooked steamed bun. Function: Regulating Qi, digesting food, and stopping diarrhea. It is suitable for children with indigestion, abdominal distension and pain, loose stools containing undigested food. Usage: Cook radish seeds on low heat until fragrant, toast steamed buns until charred, grind them into powder, mix with rice soup or boiled water and drink. Take once or in divided doses for 5 consecutive days.

5. Ingredients of applesauce: 1 apple (preferably apple that has been stored for a while). Function: Used for indigestion diarrhea in children. Symptoms include mushy stools containing undigested food and poor appetite in children. Usage: Wash the apples, blanch them in boiling water for 5 minutes, take them out, peel them, then scrape them into a paste with a spoon and give them to the child. Feed the child twice a day, and the amount of food depends on the age of the child. Continue for several days until the illness is cured.

6. Composition of skimmed milk: 100 ml of cow's milk or goat's milk. Function: Strengthen the spleen and stimulate appetite. Used for indigestion, diarrhea and decreased appetite in children. Skim milk contains little fat and is easy to digest, so it can be used for therapeutic purposes, but if taken for a long time, it will not provide enough nutrition. Usage: Heat milk or goat milk to boil, cool naturally, and remove the fat floating on the surface to make skimmed milk or goat milk. Boil 100 ml of goat milk or cow milk, cool it, add 6 ml of lactic acid or orange juice, stir evenly while adding, and you have yogurt. Babies should be fed at every feeding time. Children can take it at will, but there should be a certain time interval between two times. It should be heated before each use.
