What to do if your child is anemic? Here are some tips for you to take care of him

If a child is picky about food, he or she will be more likely to suffer from anemia. In this case, we can also adjust the diet. Foods such as animal liver, lean meat, sesame paste, etc. have good blood-replenishing effects, so you can let your children eat more of them appropriately.

Animal liver

There is no doubt that animal liver is rich in iron and is the best food for preventing and treating iron deficiency anemia. Every 100 grams of pork liver contains 25 mg of iron, and the iron in animal foods is easier to absorb than that in plant foods.

Common dishes: Stir-fried pork liver

Method: Cut the pork liver into thin slices, put it in a bowl, add a little cooking wine, dark soy sauce, and light soy sauce, mix well, and finally add a spoonful of dry starch and marinate for ten minutes. Heat the pan with cold oil, put the pork liver in, stir-fry until cooked and serve.

Lean meat

Although the iron content in lean meat is not very high, the utilization rate of iron is similar to that of pork liver. The most valuable thing is that lean meat should be the easiest ingredient to buy and easy to prepare.

Common dishes: lean meatballs

Method: Chop the purchased lean meat into pieces, add a little flour and mix it into a paste, then add appropriate amount of salt and stir well. Boil water and pour the meat paste into the pot little by little, boil until it floats, then season it.

Tahini

Sesame paste is rich in various nutrients. Every 100 grams of sesame paste contains 58 mg of iron. It also contains rich nutrients such as calcium, phosphorus, protein and fat. What's more valuable is that many children like to eat sesame paste.

Green leafy vegetables

The iron content in vegetables is not high. The reason for letting children eat more vegetables is that the vitamin C in vegetables can promote the absorption and utilization of iron.

Animal blood

Pig blood, duck blood and chicken blood are rich in iron. Parents can try feeding their children some dishes made with animal blood. For example, blood tofu and chicken blood tofu soup.
