Symptoms of precocious puberty in children

Precocious puberty is an abnormal reaction during puberty. Basically, it is a disease that children will suffer from during childhood. If a child accidentally suffers from this disease, parents will feel that their child's development is much earlier than children of the same age. Now precocious puberty has become a common endocrine disease in children. Basically, it affects girls, because the incidence rate of girls is four times higher than that of boys. Therefore, after suffering from this disease, parents will feel that their children's breasts have begun to develop.

Depressed personality. Children with precocious puberty may carry a heavy mental burden prematurely because they are different from their peers in body shape and appearance, and may develop feelings of inferiority, fear and anxiety, which will have a long-term negative impact on their mental health.

Endocrine disorders. Precocious puberty itself is an endocrine disease, but the degree of endocrine disorders in children varies from person to person, that is, there are differences in severity and urgency.

Children with mild symptoms mainly show imbalance in sex hormone levels, while children with severe symptoms will develop or be combined with other endocrine dysfunctions and show more clinical manifestations.

What people are more concerned about and generally recognized is that the estrogen content in foods such as chickens and fish fed with estrogen-added feed, as well as some out-of-season vegetables, honey, colostrum, silkworm pupae, royal jelly, and fish roe is relatively high.

Frequent consumption of this type of food can easily lead to peripheral precocious puberty (also known as pseudo-precocious puberty). After a period of development, peripheral precocious puberty will transform into central precocious puberty (also called true precocious puberty).

There are many types of environmental endocrine disruptors, including synthetic estrogen metabolites emitted into the environment, natural estrogens (such as phytoestrogens flavonoids and isoflavones), estrogen analogs (divinylstilbestrol), plastic raw material diphenol A, herbicides, pesticides, heavy metals arsenic and lead, etc.

In fact, this disease also has certain levels of severity. For some children who suffer from precocious puberty, the symptoms are not so obvious, and even breast development does not occur. It is just that their height development is much faster than other children, so they grow taller. At this time, treatment must be carried out, otherwise it is very likely that your child will become shorter in height or even stop developing.
