How to choose milk powder for two-year-old baby

When babies are just born, they drink breast milk or formula milk that is close to breast milk, which plays a very important role in their healthy growth. Then as the baby continues to grow, the milk powder will generally change accordingly. When the baby is two years old, milk powder can no longer be used as the staple food. However, the milk powder still contains the nutrients that the baby needs on a daily basis, so the baby needs to continue to drink it until the baby is three years old.

When choosing milk powder for your baby, you must first follow three major criteria: whether it is close to breast milk formula. Big brand. Good reputation. On the basis of meeting these three standards, it depends on whether it is suitable for your baby. The baby's weight is up to standard. The baby's bowel movements are normal. The baby won’t get a sore throat after eating it.

When choosing milk powder, you should pay attention to the production address. Domestic products are fine, but for foreign products, you should pay attention to the origin, because many foreign brands are now made in China, so it is better to buy domestic milk powder. It is usually best to buy a more popular brand so that the quality is guaranteed. To buy milk powder that suits your baby's physical condition, don't follow blindly. In fact, all milk powders can cause internal heat. The main thing is to let your baby drink more water. If you are afraid of getting a sore throat, you can save the rice washing water for 2-3 times, steam it and let it settle, then mix it with milk powder, or let your baby drink it as boiled water. Generally, the sore throat can be cleared in about a week.

Two-year-old babies can basically start trying to eat some normal foods and gradually use them as staple foods. However, these foods should still be mainly easy to digest, such as various rice porridges, noodles, some chopped vegetables, eggs, etc. High-calcium biscuits sold in supermarkets are also OK. In addition, the vitamins contained in some fruits are also helpful for the baby's growth, so the baby can eat more fruits such as bananas and apples.
