How to treat baby's buttocks skin

Every family will have a lovely baby, and the baby will become the focus of every family. The baby's health affects the entire family. If the baby's immunity is still very poor, it is easy for him to get sick and be infected by some germs. What is the reason for the baby's buttocks to have broken skin? Some parents think that it is because the baby has been lying down for too long, while others think it is a problem with the quilt. So what is the reason for the baby's buttocks to have broken skin? The following is a simple introduction I gave to everyone.

Consider diaper rash as the cause.

Diaper eczema is generally caused by diarrhea or untimely diaper changes, which causes bacteria to decompose urea in stool and urine into ammonia, which irritates the skin. Because babies use wet diapers, which are stained with urine and feces, and diapers that are not cleaned with soap and detergent, irritating the skin in the diaper area can aggravate the condition and cause diaper rash, also known as diaper dermatitis or diaper eczema. The skin on the buttocks becomes red and congested, which is also called buttock redness in medicine.

Treatment recommendations:

1. If the affected area has not peeled, you can apply dehumidifying oil or tannic acid ointment;

2. If ulceration and exudation have occurred, apply zinc ointment or zinc oxide oil;

3. Daknin powder can be applied locally to prevent fungal infection, facilitate exudation and absorption, keep dry, and promote epithelial growth.

4. Keep the buttocks clean and dry. In summer, when the room temperature is high, the affected area can be exposed to the air, and exposed to sunlight or light to evaporate and dry the affected area. You can also use a household handheld hair dryer to the "warm wind" mode, and blow air to the affected area 15-20 cm away from the skin. Do this 4 times a day, 5 minutes each time. Warm air is not only conducive to the healing of the local skin, but also can keep the child quiet.

Note:

1. After the child has put on the diaper, it is best to put on a cotton or multi-layer old cloth diaper pad with strong water absorption, and then put oil cloth or plastic cloth under the diaper pad. Do not let the plastic cloth or oil cloth directly contact the skin, because they are not breathable and affect the absorption and evaporation of water.

2. Wash the diaper thoroughly. If the diaper is contaminated with feces or urine, first remove the feces, soak the diaper in clean water, boil it in boiling water or scald it in hot water, then wash it with cold water and dry it in the sun.

3. Choose soft cotton diapers, which are more absorbent. To prevent diaper rash, you must keep the buttocks clean and dry. Never reuse wet diapers directly after drying them. This is the key to preventing diaper rash.

4. Children should clean their buttocks and vulva in time after defecation. When washing, they should wash from front to back, that is, wash the vulva first and then the anus, to prevent urinary tract infection. After washing, dry the buttocks and change the diaper.

5. Change diapers in time, especially for children with diarrhea.

This is the relevant information about baby's buttocks cracked skin. I hope these suggestions are helpful to you. I hope parents can choose quilts that are suitable for their babies. Don’t let your baby lie on the bed all the time. Pick the baby up when you have time. Lying down for a long time may cause skin breakage on the baby’s buttocks. If this happens, it is recommended that you take your baby to the hospital for a check-up, as symptomatic treatment is more scientific. I wish every baby good health. I wish every family a happy life.
