Most children nowadays will encounter facial eczema during their growth. This is a kind of allergic skin disease. Because children nowadays are more naughty and curious, there are more bacteria in the things they touch, which causes skin diseases. If you get this disease, you need to slowly adjust your condition. Let's take a closer look at some typical symptoms of facial eczema. The clinical characteristics of allergic eczema in children are polymorphic rash, tendency to exudate, symmetrical distribution, and severe itching. The disease is prone to recurrence and may not heal for many years. The cause of the disease is complex. It is mostly caused by the interaction of certain external or internal factors. The cause-effect relationship is more complex and there are many other influencing factors, so it is different from contact dermatitis. It is more common in chubby babies and usually begins to occur in the second or third month after birth. It is prone to occur in the face and skin folds such as the back of the neck, inner elbows, and popliteal fossa, and can also affect the entire body. Allergic eczema in children often occurs in the forehead, eyebrows, cheeks, scalp, around the auricles and other parts of the head and face, and then gradually spreads to the neck, shoulders, back, limbs, around the anus, vulva and other skin wrinkles, and can even affect the entire body. Because eczema is accompanied by extreme itching, children will scratch the rash area with their hands, causing skin breaks. When lying down, the child will rub the back of the head on the pillow, causing pillow baldness; when lying on his stomach, the child will rub his face with the bed sheet to relieve the itching; when hugging, the child will snuggle up to your shoulder and rub his face. The sick children are often irritable and restless due to the extreme itching, crying at night and affecting their sleep. Also, since children scratch the itch with their hands, it can often cause bacterial skin infection and further aggravate the condition. Eczema appears as small, spotted red rashes that can occur anywhere, scattered or densely packed together. It usually starts on the face, often with yellow fluid flowing out, which can form blisters, and when dry, form yellow scabs. Eczema is very itchy, so babies are often irritable and restless, constantly rubbing and scratching, which is prone to bleeding and secondary bacterial infection, leading to pus scars or pus scabs. Allergic eczema in children is an allergic reaction of hereditary allergic constitution to certain factors in the environment. Such children often have other allergic diseases, such as allergic rhinitis, asthmatic bronchitis, urticaria and other diseases; most of them appear about 1 month after birth, and the rash may appear 1 to 2 weeks after birth as early as 1 to 2 weeks after birth, mainly occurring on the two cheeks, forehead and mandible, and in severe cases may affect the chest and upper arms. At the beginning, the skin becomes red with needle-sized red papules on it. Blisters, pustules, small erosive surfaces, moisture, exudation, and scabs may form. After the scab falls off, the erosive surface is underneath, which becomes erythema after healing. After several weeks to months, the edema and erythema begin to subside, the erosion surface disappears, the skin becomes dry, and a few thin crusts or scales appear. It is very painful if eczema appears on the baby's face. This skin disease will make the skin on the face become itchy and unbearable. Children will unconsciously reach out to scratch their faces. In this case, we need to pay attention at all times. Never scratch with your hands, as this will only make the condition more serious. Therefore, if the condition is more serious, it is best to go to the hospital for treatment. |
