What to do if the baby keeps crying and not sleeping

Babies always cry and refuse to sleep. I believe many babies have experienced this situation. Many parents are always worried whether there are some problems with their babies' bodies. In order to avoid the situation of babies crying at night, let's learn what to do if babies always cry and don't sleep.

A. In the first three weeks after the baby is born, he will usually sleep 3-4 times a day. Basically, he will fall asleep after feeding and eat after waking up. This sleeping pattern of your baby indicates that he is eating enough and sleeping well.

B. Don’t panic if your baby sleeps upside down between morning and night. Try to reduce their daytime sleep and keep the room dark and quiet. In addition, you can let your baby move more during the day and extend the time in the excited state appropriately.

C. It is difficult for a newborn to adapt to the environment from the womb to the crib all at once, so letting the baby sleep in a swaddle in the first few weeks will make it easier for him to fall asleep.

D. Newborns usually wake up two or three times during the night. Make sure to change the baby's diaper and gently pat the baby back to sleep.

There are many reasons why babies cry and don't sleep at night, not just one reason. But when we don't know the reason, we must not seek medical treatment or take medicine indiscriminately. In order to avoid taking medicine that may worsen the child's condition, we should go to the hospital for examination first to determine what kind of disease our child has.
