Treatment and prevention of rickets in children?

Children are very susceptible to rickets, which is painful, troublesome and expensive to treat. So how should pediatric rickets be treated and prevented? Let’s take a look with the editor today.

Physical exercise should be strengthened in daily life. Active or passive methods can be used to correct skeletal deformities: for chest deformities, prone head-lift and chest-extension exercises can be performed; for lower limb deformities, muscle massage can be performed (massage the lateral muscle groups with "O" shaped legs and massage the medial muscle groups with "X" shaped legs) to increase muscle tension and help deformity recovery; for those with residual severe lower limb skeletal deformities, surgical correction can be considered after the active stage of rickets stops after the age of 4. There is no specific treatment for Chondro-Hair Dysplasia Syndrome in Children. The cellular immunity deficiency type and humoral immunity deficiency type can be treated by enhancing cellular and humoral immunity, and strengthening anti-infection. Thymus transplantation can be tried for combined immunodeficiency.

The above is the treatment and prevention of rickets in children. Pregnant mothers should go to the hospital regularly for prenatal checkups to confirm the health of their baby. If symptoms of rickets occur, you should go to the hospital for treatment in time to delay the disease.
