What to do if your baby has ringworm

What to do if your baby has ringworm

As we all know, most families in China can only have one child, so many parents now always treat their children as treasures. Babies are very fragile when they are just born, and it is easy for them to develop ringworm on their bodies. Parents are always very anxious at this time. Let me introduce some methods below.

This is clinically known as "insect bite dermatitis". Insect bite dermatitis, also known as "papular urticaria", refers to an inflammatory skin reaction caused by bites from insects or arthropods, or contact with the poisonous hairs of insects. It often occurs in exposed areas and around the waist. Common insects that cause dermatitis include mosquitoes, bedbugs, fleas, mites, midges (small black bugs), wasps, etc. In addition, some caterpillars, such as mulberry caterpillars and stinging caterpillars, can also cause symptoms when their poisonous hairs pierce the skin. Due to the different types of insects biting the human body and the different physical conditions of the bitten individuals, different skin reactions will occur at the bite site. The general manifestations are edematous papules, wheals, edematous erythema, papules, papulovesicles, petechiae, etc., accompanied by varying degrees of itching, stinging, and burning pain. Regardless of the type of rash, traces of insect bites or bee stings and poisonous hairs can be found in the center of the affected area. The stings and poisonous hairs should be removed as much as possible and the venom sucked out. For insect bite dermatitis caused by mites and fleas, you must take a bath and change into clean clothes before treatment. Prevention and treatment: Pay attention to personal and environmental hygiene, and change clothes and bedding frequently. You can spray the box with 1:5000 pyrethroid insecticide to kill bed bugs, fleas, lice and other insects. Once symptoms are found, medication should be taken promptly. Do not drink alcohol or eat spicy food, and go to the suburbs or parks less often. Straw mats should be washed and dried to reduce the number of mites hidden in them and the possibility of insect bites.

We all know that children's skin is very smooth and tender, and even the slightest mosquito bite may cause ringworm. Moreover, if a child has ringworm, he or she must not use medication randomly, because it may cause damage to the child's skin. It can only be cured slowly with physical methods.
