Child car safety seat

There are many items in life that are not common to us, but seats are indeed very common. These items are used every day. Different seats also have some differences in functions, so when buying a seat, you should also pay attention to its usage, especially when buying a child car safety seat, you should have a good understanding of such seats.

Many people are not very clear about child car safety seats, and do not know how to choose when purchasing such seats. So before purchasing such seats, it is necessary to understand its design and usage.

Child car seats:

A safety seat is a seat designed for children of different weights (or age groups) and installed in a car to effectively improve the safety of children riding in a car. The European mandatory implementation standard ECE R44/03 is defined as: a child safety protection system consisting of a seat belt assembly or flexible components, adjustment mechanisms, accessories, etc. with an ISOFIX interface that can be fixed to a motor vehicle. In the event of a car collision or sudden deceleration, the impact force on children can be reduced and the movement of their bodies can be restricted, thereby reducing their injuries. Currently, international testing standards mainly refer to ADAC test results.

Fixing method

LATCH is the abbreviation of "Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren", which has a very awkward Chinese translation, "Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children". Since September 1, 2002, the United States has stipulated that almost all types of cars must provide child safety seat fixing methods using the LATCH system. The biggest difference between it and the European standard ISO FⅨ fixing method is that the connection method is not a hard link but a simultaneous hook connection, which can be compatible with the ISOFIX interface.

The seat belt fixing method only requires a seat belt, so it can be used on any car model equipped with seat belts in the world. Many domestic car models can only be secured with seat belts. Due to their versatility, many child safety seats sold in China support this type of securing method.

Through the above introduction, we have a good understanding of child car safety seats. Therefore, when purchasing this type of seat, you can follow the above methods. However, it should be noted that when using this type of seat, if the child feels uncomfortable, you should stop using it so that the child can be protected in all aspects.
