Because the medicine for nasal ventilation contains ephedrine, the medicine will be swallowed by the baby when the medicine is dripped because the nasopharynx is connected. Once ephedrine is absorbed by the baby's body, it will produce certain toxic side effects. Therefore, young parents should not use nasal drops on their babies.
