Baby sleeps well, start with mosquito prevention

The baby is our hope and the most attention-grabbing existence in our family. Once you have a baby, the key to a good night's sleep is to ensure that the baby sleeps well. Mosquitoes are one of the main pests that disturb our sleep, and they carry a variety of pathogens. Once they bite the baby's tender skin, it is inevitable that there will be a big red envelope. How can we prevent babies from mosquitoes?

1. What are the hazards of mosquito bites to babies?

Mosquitoes are the main vectors of Japanese encephalitis and a variety of tropical diseases (such as malaria, filariasis, yellow fever and dengue fever). If you find that your baby has symptoms such as high fever, vomiting, or even convulsions in summer and autumn, you should seek medical attention in time. When using mosquito repellent products, especially mosquito repellents and ointments that come into direct contact with the skin, pay attention to whether there are allergic reactions. Babies with a history of allergies should be more careful.

1. After being bitten by a mosquito, people will feel unbearable itching, especially affecting sleep.

2. The main harm caused by mosquitoes is transmitting diseases. According to research, mosquitoes transmit more than 80 kinds of diseases. On Earth, no animal is more harmful to humans than mosquitoes.

Baby mosquito repellent method

1. Add vitamin B1 to the bath gel. The special smell emitted by vitamin B1 can keep mosquitoes away, achieving the effect of repelling mosquitoes and insects. Dissolve 3 to 5 tablets of vitamin B1 in water, and use a cotton ball dipped in the solution to wipe exposed limbs. This can repel mosquito bites within two days.

2. Move a tuberose. After the tuberose flower absorbs enough heat in the summer sun, it releases a lot of fragrance when night comes. After many late-night cool-off experiences, I discovered that whether indoors or outdoors, as long as there is a "night-blooming jasmine" next to me, I will not be bitten by mosquitoes. Therefore, on hot summer nights, there is always a "night-blooming jasmine" in the house, which not only has a fragrant smell (compared with various mosquito coils, it is natural and fragrant) but also repels mosquitoes.

3. Make good use of essential oil. When you light mosquito coils, the smell is choking; when you hang a mosquito net, the air is stuffy. If you can sprinkle a proper amount of wind oil on the whole plate of mosquito coils before lighting them, the mosquito coils will not be choking, and the room will be filled with fragrance, which will have a good mosquito repellent effect. If you can sprinkle a few drops of medicated oil on the mosquito net before entering it, you can improve the air conditions inside the mosquito net and increase the mosquito repellent effect.

4. Make good use of the refrigerator. When the compressor on the back of a household refrigerator is working, its shell temperature is usually 45-60°C, and the heat is uniform. For example, if you buy mosquito repellent tablets specially used for electronic mosquito repellent devices sold on the market, and place them on the refrigerator compressor casing in the evening, and use the residual heat to evaporate the tablets, you can also achieve a good mosquito repellent effect. Not only does it save you money, but it also makes the operation more convenient.

Here are some safe and natural ways to repel mosquitoes:

1. Use mosquito nets or window screens to keep mosquitoes out;

2. Place a few opened boxes of cooling oil and wind oil in the bedroom, or place one or two pots of blooming night-blooming jasmine, jasmine, Milan, mint or rose, etc. Mosquitoes will avoid them because they can't stand their smell.

3. Install orange-red light bulbs indoors, or cover the light bulbs with translucent orange-red cellophane. When you turn on the light, mosquitoes will flee because they are afraid of the orange-red light.

4. Use an empty wine bottle or cup filled with sugar water or beer and place it in a dark place. Mosquitoes will smell the sweet wine and will fly into the bottle, where they will be stuck to the sugar water or beer and die.
