Children have sore throats. Do you know how to treat them?

When symptoms of sore throat appear in children, parents must pay great attention to it, but don't be too anxious. It may be caused by a respiratory infection or it may be caused by getting angry, so the cause should be found based on the child's situation and then treated symptomatically.

1. In fact, upper respiratory tract infections, pharyngitis, and tonsillitis are relatively common symptoms in childhood! The most common one is tonsillitis, because tonsils are the largest lymphatic tissue in the pharynx, especially between the ages of 3 and 10. They begin to shrink after the age of 10. In addition, children’s immune systems are low, so the incidence rate is much higher than that of adults! Tonsils are the two guards guarding the body's gate, so if a child has a slight cold, it will cause tonsillitis and sore throat!

2. Parents often say that their children are getting "heaty", which is actually just internal heat. For throat inflammation caused by this situation, you can let the children eat some cold fruits such as: watermelon, banana, pear, kiwi, etc. You can also boil bitter melon water for your child to drink. Take about 10 slices and put them in a pot, add a bowl of water, cook over low heat until it becomes half a bowl of water, and give it to your child to drink in two times. It is very effective! This should be considered a dietary anti-inflammatory drug!

3. Parents can also soak their children's feet in hot water for 20-30 minutes and then give their children a foot massage. First, rub the soles of the feet 50 times each, and then pinch the 10 toes 20-30 times each. The most important thing is to massage the tonsil reflex area at the base of the child's big toe. As long as the child has a sore throat, the child will definitely feel pain when pressing this area. Find the pain point and press it for 5-10 minutes, 2-3 times a day, the child's throat pain will definitely be relieved!

4. In fact, if a child becomes ill, it must be because of improper care by the parents! For example, if you sleep with your arms outside at night, often go barefoot, or sit directly on the floor, or often eat cold fruits, and if you also like to eat fish, you will be more likely to suffer from various head and facial diseases, such as chronic tonsillitis, chronic rhinitis, etc.! Therefore, parents must pay attention to not letting their children catch cold, and eat more foods with neutral or warm properties!

5. When your child has a sore throat, be sure to let him drink more water. You can also add some salt and let him drink some light salt water! The food you eat should be as soft as possible, and never eat spicy food! Get enough sleep, exercise more, and get more exposure to nature! When the disease is not occurring, you can also eat some shrimps, which can nourish the kidneys and prevent deficiency! Or you can try eel, which is also good for replenishing blood and removing dampness!
