What to eat for constipation in 3-year-old children?

Most girls will encounter constipation in their lives, which is mainly due to the influence of eating habits and body structure. Relatively speaking, the probability of constipation in men is lower than that in women. Constipation is a disease that is not only common in adults, but can also occur in children as young as two or three years old. Many parents are at a loss as to what to do if they see their children suffering from constipation. What can a 3-year-old child with constipation eat to see immediate results?

Solution 1 for baby constipation:

If the baby has been constipated for more than three days, the mother can use medication to help the baby solve the constipation problem, such as inserting a suppository or glycerin suppository into the child's anus, allowing the liquid medicine to remain in the intestines for a while before letting the child defecate. As a result, the baby's feces will be discharged quickly and easily. This medicine should not be used too much, as the baby will become dependent on it.

Some people also recommend using a soap head, cutting the head a little, and poking it into the anus a few times, which is also very effective. (I have tried it on my baby and it works great)

Solution 2 to baby constipation:

Diet therapy, try to use diet therapy is better for your baby's health. When breastfeeding babies are constipated, they can add laxative foods. Such as orange juice, red date juice, cabbage juice and so on. When babies are constipated during the weaning period, complementary foods can be added. In addition to highly nutritious eggs, lean meat, liver and fish, you should also add vegetables, fruits and porridge rich in fiber, such as spinach, rapeseed, cabbage, celery, bananas, pears, etc. I often feed my baby bananas, and it seems to be somewhat effective.

When older children are constipated, you can add some whole grains, such as standard flour, potatoes, corn, barley, etc. Oily foods and cold boiled water can also help prevent and treat constipation.

Solution 3 to baby constipation:

Apply a thin layer of cooling oil around the baby's belly button, and then apply another layer on the back corresponding to the belly button. Massage slightly. After 1-2 hours, the baby will start to fart and then poop slowly. If it doesn’t work once, try 2-3 times.

In normal times, parents should also pay attention to cultivating the baby's habit of regular defecation. Parents can let the baby sit on the potty for at least 10 minutes, and encourage him or make some defecation-related signals such as "pity" or "la la" to induce him to defecate. Over time, your baby will fall in love with the feeling of having a bowel movement, and will eventually develop a habit of having a bowel movement at regular times every day.

You can solve your baby's constipation problem by following the above methods. In addition, you must make sure to let your baby move more. More exercise can make the gastrointestinal motility more normal, so that your baby will stay away from the trouble of constipation.

Some parents still feed their children milk powder when they are two or three years old. There is nothing wrong with this practice, but it is important to note that you must not add honey or glucose to the milk powder. Otherwise, the child’s constipation will become more serious after eating it, and it will easily make the child develop bad eating habits, which will have an adverse effect on their future growth and development.
