What to eat for anorexia

What to eat for anorexia

When children eat something, they often refuse to eat certain foods. No matter how they are cooked for them, they just don’t like to eat. This symptom is called picky eating. In addition, some babies don’t like to eat anything and only take a few bites of their favorite things. This symptom can be considered as anorexia. Anorexia means not not eating. Parents are also worried that their children’s physical functions will be affected. So what should babies eat if they have anorexia?

1. If your baby always doesn’t like to eat, go to the hospital to check his liver function. Abnormal liver function should be treated as early as possible to avoid delaying the disease.

2. Zinc deficiency can also cause anorexia in babies. You should go to the hospital to measure the serum zinc level to see if your baby is zinc deficient. If zinc is deficient, zinc supplements should be given, and the baby should be fed some zinc-rich foods regularly, such as soybeans, peanuts, a little fresh soy milk every day, and a little peanut oil when cooking. Nuts such as hazelnuts are also high in zinc, so give them to your baby often.

3. Correct bad eating habits and achieve "drink milk at the right time and eat in moderation". Do not be partial to or picky about food, do not force your baby to eat, eat at regular times and in fixed quantities, and combine meat and vegetables. Encourage your baby to eat more vegetables and whole grains so that he or she can get comprehensive nutrition. Try to eat less hamburgers, chocolate and some fried foods, and less fatty, sweet, greasy, raw, cold, hard and other foods that are difficult to digest.

4. Help your baby develop the habit of regular bowel movements every day. The habit of defecation is formed through training. It is best to train your baby to defecate every morning when he wakes up to promote digestion.
