Introduction of Bifidobacterium infantis

Maybe many mothers don’t know what kind of bacteria Bifidobacterium infants is and think that this bacteria will cause abnormalities in our body. In fact, after reading the introduction of this article, you will know that Bifidobacterium infants is a kind of bacteria that lives in the baby’s intestines. It has a certain auxiliary effect on the baby’s intestinal peristalsis and intestinal digestive function. I hope you can understand.

Bifidobacterium infantis is a probiotic in the intestines that is present in all humans, but becomes less and less with age. It is highest in breastfed babies. Because breast milk contains bifidobacterium factors, which are a class of substances that can promote the growth of bifidobacteria.

Bifidobacterium infantis is present in large quantities in the intestines of breastfed infants and has many benefits for infants and young children, such as nutritional, immune and anti-infection effects. It also has anti-allergic, anti-tumor, intestinal function regulating and nutrition improving effects. Clinically, Bifidobacterium has the effect of regulating intestinal dysfunction. It can prevent diarrhea and reduce constipation, which is a two-way regulation. This regulation can prevent and treat various intestinal diseases.

① Protect the body from infection by pathogens. A large number of bifidobacteria live in the intestines of healthy people. The most typical example is breast-fed babies, whose intestinal bacteria are 99% bifidobacteria. Since bifidobacteria can produce acetic acid and lactic acid, the pH value in the intestine tends to be strongly acidic, which can inhibit the reproduction of pathogens and prevent the human body from infection.

This is why babies who drink breast milk are less likely to suffer from diarrhea or enteritis, and have a lower mortality rate than babies who drink cow's milk. Of course, this is not only true for babies, but also for toddlers and adults. The more dominant bifidobacteria are in the intestines, the less likely they are to be invaded by pathogens and become infected with disease.

②Inhibit intestinal corruption. When protein is decomposed by bad bacteria in the intestine, it will form corrupt substances such as amines, ammonia, indole, and hydrogen sulfide. After these substances are absorbed by the human body, they become the cause of various diseases such as constipation, diarrhea, cancer, high blood pressure, etc., and accelerate the aging of the body. As mentioned above, the reason why feces smells bad is also due to these decaying substances. If bifidobacteria win the battle against bad bacteria, it can inhibit intestinal corruption.

③ Producing vitamins and inhibiting intestinal corruption cannot be considered the main functions of bifidobacteria. Bifidobacteria can indeed produce vitamins B1, B6, B12, K12, niacin and iodine. Some of them will be absorbed by the body and will be of great benefit to the human body.

④ Promote intestinal peristalsis and prevent constipation. When bifidobacteria multiply in the intestines, they produce organic acids such as lactic acid or acetic acid as metabolic products. It can promote intestinal motility and prevent constipation.

Through this article’s introduction to Bifidobacterium infantis, mothers should have a certain understanding of this bacteria. This kind of bacteria lives in the intestines of infants and can play a certain auxiliary role. Therefore, children who grow up drinking breast milk have more infant Bifidobacterium in their intestines. This is achieved through breast milk.
