Recipes for children with allergic purpura

Allergic purpura is a common clinical disease, which has a great impact on people's lives and bodies. Many cases of allergic purpura begin to develop in childhood. For children, allergic purpura should not only be treated in a timely manner, but also attention should be paid to regulating the diet in daily life, which is also helpful for treatment. What is the diet for children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura?

1. Pumpkin and chestnut porridge

Mini pumpkin, cooked chestnuts, and millet. Take half a pumpkin, remove the pumpkin skin and cut into small pieces. After the water in the pot boils, put the cut pumpkin pieces in and cook on high heat for about ten minutes. Use the back of a knife to flatten and crush the cooked chestnuts and put them into the pot. Add millet and cook on high heat for 10 minutes, then turn to low heat and simmer for more than 30 minutes, until the porridge looks thicker.

2. Apple carrot milk juice

Prepare 1-2 apples, 1-2 carrots, a box of milk, and a spoonful of honey. Wash and peel the apples and carrots, and cut into pieces for later use. Put the cut apples and carrots, plus the box of milk and honey, into a juicer and squeeze them into juice. Filter out the residue, pour out only the juice, and give it to your child to drink.

3. Eat more protein-rich foods

Children with Henoch-Schönlein purpura often suffer from anemia due to excessive bleeding, so they should eat more protein-rich and blood-enriching foods to supplement the body's needs. These mainly include lean meat, eggs, animal liver, kidney, spinach, tomatoes, kelp, seaweed, fungus, jujube and beans and their products.

4. Eat more foods rich in vitamin C

Vitamin C can reduce the permeability and fragility of capillaries. Eating more of it can help children recover. Foods rich in vitamin C include grapefruit, orange, tangerine, apple, lemon, strawberry, kiwi, tomato and various green leafy vegetables.
