Is it normal for an 11-year-old girl to develop breasts?

We all know that the bodies of both men and women begin to develop during puberty. Before that, boys and girls are almost the same in terms of body shape and voice. However, puberty generally occurs around the age of thirteen or fourteen. There are also cases of precocious puberty in life. For example, some parents find that their daughters are only eleven years old, but their breasts have already begun to develop. Is this normal?

1. Normal

Breast development generally begins between the ages of nine and ten, during which time the nipples develop primarily. Therefore, breast development in ten-year-old girls is a normal physiological phenomenon. At around the age of eleven, the mammary glands begin to proliferate, forming a breast nodule. Between the ages of twelve and thirteen, the number of mammary ducts and subcutaneous fat increases, and the breasts gradually swell. Breast development is almost complete by the age of 20.

2. The process of breast development in girls

Development process: The first stage (1 to 9 years old): before puberty, breasts have not yet developed. The second stage (10-11 years old): In the early stage of breast development, the breast bud under the nipple begins to grow and appears as a distinct dome-shaped bulge. Stage 3 (12-13 years old): The breasts become rounder and shaped like adults, but are still smaller. Stage 4 (14-15 years old): The breasts grow rapidly, and the nipples and areola protrude forward, shaped like small balls. If you are still the same as when you were 13, you need to find out the reason. The fifth stage (16-18 years old): Normal adult breasts are formed, and the small balls of the nipple and areola merge into the round shape of the breast. Breast development is affected by factors such as region and race, and the time when women's breasts begin to develop varies. Most women's breasts begin to develop between the ages of 8 and 13, and fully mature between the ages of 14 and 18. Breast development usually starts from the left side, and it takes about 3-5 years from the beginning of development to full maturity.

3. Note

During the process of breast development, you need to pay attention to the following matters: First, when the breasts are underdeveloped, too large, of different sizes, or undeveloped, you must seek medical attention in time. Second, keep the breasts clean and do not squeeze the breasts, nipples and other fragile skin tissues at will, otherwise it is easy to cause breast inflammation. Third, when you start taking breast enhancement, you need to wear underwear that fits you and never bind your breasts. Fourth, when a girl is around fifteen years old, her breasts have basically taken shape, and she needs to wear a bra to prevent them from deforming.
