How to train a timid baby

How to train a timid baby

For some children, they tend to be timid, especially when their father and mother are not around, they will cry and make a fuss. These are some symptoms of timidity. So how to cultivate a timid baby?

1. Optimistic attitude.

When dealing with the baby's shyness, the mother should be gentle and introduce him to the baby in a cheerful voice: "This is Aunt Chen, she loves babies very much!" Let the baby find a sense of security from the mother's tone.

2. Exercise outdoors.

You should take your baby outdoors more often, let him/her interact with strangers and various interesting things to broaden his/her horizons. Hold your baby and actively say hello and chat with strangers, so that your baby feels that the stranger is friendly and will not hurt him.

3. Approach slowly.

If you want to get close to your baby, it is best to hold his most familiar and favorite toy, so that he can gradually divert his attention and alleviate his fear of strangers.

4. Sense of security.

If the baby is afraid of strangers, the mother should immediately return the baby to a safe environment, such as holding him in her arms or putting him back in the stroller. Do not force or coerce him to accept the intimacy of strangers, as this will only make him more nervous and think that his mother does not want him anymore.

5. Comfort in time.

A baby in the birth anxiety period will not listen to any of your explanations. The best way to help him return to normal is to calm his emotions in time and make him feel safe in the shortest possible time.

6. Social activities.

You can often take your baby to visit other people's homes, or invite relatives and friends to your home. It is best to have children of the same age as your baby. The communication barriers between peers are much smaller. Gradually let your baby get used to this kind of communication and improve his communication skills.
