Both children and adults will always suffer from some diseases in their lives. Especially when children are sick, parents will be particularly worried. At the same time, children are also suffering. Some children suffer from pediatric papular acrodermatitis. As parents, do you know the general pathological changes of this disease? When our children are sick, we as parents must know this knowledge so that we can take good care of our children in life! Infantile papular acro-dermatitis is considered to be a skin disease associated with HBV infection. It is currently believed that this disease is a skin manifestation of hepatitis B virus infection and may be related to the deposition of hepatitis B virus antigen-antibody complexes. General pathological changes of papular acrodermatitis in children a. Localized parakeratosis, b. Localized mild spongioedema of the epidermis, mild acanthosis, and microabscesses composed of mononuclear cells. c. Dermal papillary edema, with varying numbers of extravascular red blood cells. d. Sparse lymphocyte and tissue cell infiltration around blood vessels in the superficial dermis. e. There is diffuse reticulocyte hyperplasia in the lymph nodes. This disease was first proposed by Gianotti in Italy, who reported three cases of children with specific papules on the limbs and face, superficial lymphadenopathy and hepatomegaly in 1955. Subsequently, the disease was reported from all over the world and was widely recognized as an independent disease. Because European and American countries once called it "Gianotti-Crosti syndrome" and "non-itchy acrodermatitis of childhood", for a period of time they paid more attention to the description of skin symptoms and did not emphasize the associated hepatitis. Therefore, it was easily confused with another type of papule-vesicular acrodermatitis that is usually not accompanied by hepatitis. For this reason, some people suggested that this disease be called Gianotti disease, and the papule-vesicular acrodermatitis be called Gianotti-Crosti syndrome. In recent years, especially the 5th World Congress of Pediatric Dermatology, it is believed that the two cannot be differentiated from skin lesions alone, and Gianotti disease and Gianotti-Crosti syndrome mentioned in many literatures are synonymous with this disease. The above are the five common pathological changes of papular acrodermatitis in children. Have we remembered them all? If a parent's child is not feeling well, then I guess you will also be worried and depressed. It would be very helpful to learn more about diseases. Of course, when your children have smiles on their faces, so should you as parents! |
