Does a three-month-old baby need an injection if he has a fever?

Good health has always been the most important part of life. Babies under one year old need special care and treatment. Not only because children are the apple of their parents' eyes, but also because the immune system of infants under one year old has not yet been fully strengthened and is very fragile and needs special protection. If the baby's condition is slightly serious, he needs to go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time.

Injections are the fastest way to treat fever. If the baby's temperature is between 37℃ and 38℃, it is a low fever. At this time, you should loosen the baby's clothes in time and let the baby drink more warm water to expand the child's epidermal blood vessels and lower the body temperature.

If the baby's body temperature is above 38℃, you can use cold compresses and alcohol baths. Cold compress is to apply ice packs to the back of the head, forehead, armpits, neck, groin and other places where large blood vessels pass, and change the ice packs every 5 to 10 minutes.

For babies under 3 months old, warm and wet compress should be used. Wet the towel with warm water and rub the baby's body up and down, changing the towel every 10 to 15 minutes.

Alcohol bath is made by mixing 75% alcohol and warm water in a ratio of 2:1, and then rubbing it on the areas where the baby's large blood vessels pass. If the concentration of alcohol is 95%, you can add an equal amount of warm water to mix it.

When wiping, be careful to avoid the baby's face, soles of feet, abdomen and heart area on the chest. If it is still high, you need an injection.

Colds, fevers and coughs in infants under one year old are mainly caused by viruses. A drop in body temperature and inflammation and infection of the respiratory tract can also have an impact on the infant's body. The baby's body is still extremely fragile. Parents need to observe and seek medical treatment in time if there are any signs of illness, so as to minimize the child's pain and protect the child's healthy growth. I hope the above simple methods will be helpful to everyone.
